To Inspire a New Generation of Park Explorers to Protect Cultural and Natural Resources

(Bridgeport, CT, December 1, 2020) — US Park Pass connects travelers with the gateway communities of America’s public lands. With the mission to support local artisans, businesses, and the national parks themselves, they have joined forces with the National Park Foundation, the official nonprofit partner to the National Park Service. The year-long partnership will promote access to national parks and raise awareness around the importance of these cultural ecosystems.

Through the promotion of best-selling park guides and check-out donations, US Park Pass is committed to a minimum guarantee of $100,000 this year to support the mission of the National Park Foundation to protect national parks and connect all people to them.

“We’re grateful to partners like US Park Pass who understand and value the connection between parks and people,” said Stefanie Mathew, Senior Vice President of corporate partnerships at the National Park Foundation. “When we support national parks, we’re also supporting the local communities where they’re located.”

US Park Pass has so much to offer to both first-time and experienced national park visitors as the go-to marketplace for national park-inspired artisan crafts, the America the Beautiful – the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passas as well as local travel guides, resources, gear and gift ideas.

“In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, people have spent more time indoors, connecting with the world only through their phone and computer screens. Many studies show how important getting outside is to one’s well-being,” said Ivo Bottcher-Yu, CEO of US Park Pass. “In addition to getting outside and recreating responsibly, it is more important than ever to support the small businesses that rely on park visitors to survive.”

Since its founding in 2018, US Park Pass has raised over $30,000 for our public lands and their communities, in addition to providing over 200,000 families with savings and access to the national parks through sales of the America the Beautiful – the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass.
